Tarok online: Slovenian tarok on the web

What you need to play tarok online

Less than you think: a browser. Tarok 124 runs on phone, tablet and desktop with no install, and your first hands need no registration at all. No app store, no updates, no account before you even see a table. Open 124.si and the cards are dealt.

How to start in a minute

1. Open the game. Visit 124.si in your browser and press Play: no sign-in, the first hand is yours at once.

2. Pick your company. You play three- or four-handed against bots with personalities, from cautious Ana to daring Miha. You choose the difficulty too.

3. Bid. All the rules of Slovenian tarok are here, from klop to valat, with radelc, kontra and announcements. New to the game? Start with the first-evening guide.

Tarok against a computer that actually plays

The great fear of playing a computer is boredom: an opponent throwing cards for no reason. The bots of Tarok 124 are written by the table's rules: they count trumps, bid to the strength of their hand, double when they smell blood and defend the pagat to the last trick. Each has a personality, so no two tables feel alike: cautious Ana is a different evening from daring Miha.

Is online tarok fair?

In Tarok 124 the games run on the server: the cards are shuffled by the server, not by a player's device, moves are checked against the rules, and the result is the same for everyone at the table. That is also why there is no offline play; fairness costs exactly that much.

Tarok online with friends

The finest tarok is still the one with your own people, and the online tables are open: quick match seats you at the first free table, or create your own and invite your crew. Three- and four-player games in real time, with a leaderboard. You get 20 free hands a day, together with play against the bots, and with Premium you play without limits.

What does it cost?

Nothing. You get 20 free hands every day, against the bots and online combined, with every rule and all three card decks and no ads. Premium (€3.99 a month or €24.99 a year) makes play unlimited; details on the pricing page.
